“Clifton House Self-Guided Audio Tour Experience.”

This free app supports Clifton House's Mary Ann's Poor House Tales Experience — a 30-minute self-guided audio and AR tour of Clifton House.

Mary Ann McCracken (1770–1866) fought for the rights of the poor and disadvantaged in Belfast and beyond. Her life is inextricably linked to the Belfast Poor House.

Technical: Unity (C#) with cross-platform build targets, on-device media playback, and AR features using modern mobile AR frameworks (ARKit/ARCore via AR Foundation). Content is structured for guided progression and reliable performance on mid-range devices.

Digby & Beattie

“The Digby and Beattie's Adventure Trail is an augmented reality (AR) experience designed for Ipswich town centre as part of a rejuvenation program celebrating the town's historical past, vibrant present, and promising future.”

The project features seven uniquely designed characters, each representing a distinct theme that highlights activities and landmarks found across Ipswich, helping visitors connect with the town's heritage and community life.

The experience also includes an AR art gallery showcasing upcoming local talent. Schools are invited to create artwork for each of the 7 AR trails, each with its own theme and character.

Technical: Unity (C#) AR trail experience with location-aware content flow, optimized 3D assets, and interactive UI. Designed to support predictable AR tracking outdoors and smooth scene transitions between trail checkpoints.

Belfast Harbour helps visitors have a memorable, seamless experience at Belfast Harbour.

Technical: Unity (C#) mobile app integrating device location/compass signals for wayfinding and proximity-based recommendations, with AR overlays tuned for stable UX in varying lighting and network conditions.

AR walking trail experience for the Ulster Transport Museum (bespoke).

Technical: Unity (C#) bespoke AR build with curated content triggers along the route, a lightweight asset pipeline for fast loads, and device-friendly performance settings for museum visitors.

James Connolly Trail

“Uncover the hidden heritage of James Connolly on the James Connolly Heritage Trail — supported by innovative augmented reality, making it the first of its kind in Belfast.”

The trail takes you across key sites associated with Connolly while exploring Belfast's political, industrial, feminist, and working-class history and the city's role in shaping Ireland over the last 100 years.

The AR app helps visitors and citizens bring the story of James Connolly in Belfast to life.

Technical: Unity (C#) location-led AR tourism experience with structured content per stop, optimized 3D/animation delivery, and careful performance tuning for outdoor usage and battery efficiency.

Winter Wonderland

“Experience a winter environment with sights like a huge teddy bear, candy canes, and a full-scale Polar Express train. Throw fish to interact with pesky penguins, or launch virtual snowballs using the catapult.”

Workforce Reach provides resources to support stressful moments with breathing techniques, situational advice, and access to mentors — whatever the scenario.

Includes an easy 2-tap process to track your mood over time.

Technical: Cross-platform mobile app with local data persistence for mood tracking, fast navigation for “in-the-moment” use, and a structure designed for maintainable content updates across iOS/Android.

Contract & Bespoke Work (Summary)

Tailored work across synthetic data generation and multiple private client apps, including AR experiences (Titanic Belfast, Aldar – Dubai), a social app (Workforce), AR experiences for Yellow Design (Belfast), Android/iOS apps for Rovar (Belfast), and an AR tourism app for the Romanian Tourism Ministry (Maramureș).

Technical: Multi-project delivery across Unity (C#), mobile build/release workflows, and reusable component patterns (UI, input, analytics, content loading). Emphasis on performance profiling, device compatibility, and dependable production deployments.
